DYNN 10 - Who's your wizard?
Oct 21, 2021
Hi. I’m Minna, co-founders of Foco Academy, functional health and wellness coaches. As the world starts to wake up to the new normal, a lot has changed so we are also tweaking the focus of our messaging on how to get ahead in this new environmental, this new world. We are still focusing on time, health, and relationships and we are still utilizing the same set of success principles.
Talking about new normal. What we used to love to do was to go see a broadway musical. We loved the music, the dancing, even the theater itself. Everything makes me feel happy.
Recently we saw My Fair Lady, which was one of my favorite oldie movies.
And then we tried to remember when was the last time we saw a broadway show? It took us a while, and then we remembered. It was 'Wicked'. Now 'Wicked', as you might know, was based on a very popular movie, 'the Wizard of Oz'.
You may be familiar with the story of the Wizard of Oz, how Dorothy set off on the yellow brick road to find the Wizard?
But did you know the deeper meaning of the story?
Dorothy was really looking for her purpose, the reason why she was put on this earth, and she was looking far, far away, thinking that, somewhere 'Over the Rainbow', she was finally going to find what she is looking for.
So she set off on the Yellow Brick road with her 3 friends. The scarecrow, which represented her heart without a mind of her own, the tin man, which is really her own brain that is not connected to heart, and then, of course, the lion, which represents her emotions and her fears.
And then, of course, there was the wicked witch, which was her bad self, and the fairy godmother, which was her good self. It's like having an angel on one side of your head and an angel on the other.
Dorothy had all these contrasting thoughts and emotions going on inside her; that she was lost. She doesn't know where home is. And it wasn't until she finally managed to consolidate her heart, her thoughts, and her emotions, that she found the great wizard.
And, of course, it turns out, that the wizard was not a wizard of all, and that all she needed was those ruby slippers that she had all along.
Are you hesitating because your heart, your mind and your soul are not aligned? Are your inner angel and devil giving you doubts on what to do? Are you still thinking that 'somewhere over the rainbow', that that's what you are looking for? Are you looking for that wizard to tell you exactly what to do?
The lesson is. You already have everything you need. You already have the slippers that will take you to where you want to go. You don't need to go and seek the wizard, all you have to do, is to align your heart, your thoughts, and your emotions. And you will know what you should do.
You will know what your life should look like.
By the way, the morale of the story behind the Wizard of Oz, I was just re-iterating a lesson from my mentor Darren Hardy. And if you are interested in learning more from him, I suggest that you go to darrendaily.com and sign up for his daily emails. They are fantastic and they will change your life.
As for you. Where is your scarecrow, your tin man, and your lion? Do you feel aligned and at peace, or is your inner devil and angel fighting?
If you feel like you need some guidance to align yourself, we are here to help. We may not be the wizards, but we are here to guide you through your yellow brick road and figure out what kind of life you want.
